Patmos Hills – Farm House

 Experience the true spirit of Greek Island life. Patmos Hills consists of two traditional stone housesset among 100 years old olive trees, on a hillside overlooking the small village of Skala. You are five minutes from town, but in a large garden – serene and protected.

Rebuilt with the best possible materials, using traditional techniques and local craftsmen, this property offers you the very best of Greek village life.

Patmos Hills arein the protected area of Kastelli, gives you the best of everything: central location, large garden, exceptional views, traditional furnishings and modern comfort.

The houses has easy access by car, but we recommend the swift walk through the picturesque streets of the traditional township of Kastelli

Patmos Hillsare only 300 meters from the beach and about five minutes from the town Centre, but you are surrounded by 2000 square meters of traditional farmland with 100 year old pines and olive trees, making your stay quiet and rejuvenating.

The house consists of two separate units, which may be rented together or separately.

Both units have fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms, and secluded terraces.

The Farm House has one large separate bedroom, and a combined living room, bedroom, kitchen. We normally convert the living room into a bedroom with two beds. Both rooms have separate doors to the terrace, which is covered by a pergola – functioning as an outside living room.

There is only one bathroom, but it is centrally located between the two bedrooms and no problem to use for four people.

We want that your stay on Patmos shall be memorable. We will therefore help you fulfill other wishes that you may have such as:

– Meals served on the terrace (daily or as a special treat)

– Car, scooter or bicycle rent

– Boat rentals – ocean fishing

– Boat trips to the best beaches on Patmos or on nearby islands

– Suggestions on restaurants, shopping, beaches and activities

The house is located at the top of a hill overlooking the port of Skala and offers you majestic views of the ocean, the village and the traditional monastery of St. John.

The house is only 300 meters from the beach and about 6 minutes from the town Centre, but you are surrounded by 3000 square meters of traditional farmland with 100 year old pines and olive trees, making your stay quiet and rejuvenating.

The house has easy access by car, but we recommend the swift walk through the picturesque streets of the traditional township of Kastelli.

There is a well-functioning bus service on the island. Taxis are cheap, so is car, bicycle or scooter rental.

We do not recommend Patmos if you are interested in sun and beach only – nor if you primarily want a large choice of discos and a hectic nightlife. You will find both nightlife and good music, but that should not be your main reason for visiting the island.

Patmos is for those who are looking for something special; a pristine beach, walking through narrow village streets, restaurants with real homemade cooking, unlimited hospitality and an aura of times past.

Patmos is the best place to do absolutely nothing – other than enjoying tranquility, peace and pure nature.
